WHO I AM

CGI and Design for Developments That Haven't Been Built Yet

I build CGI, photography and design to the accuracy planning submissions require, and still sell the dream to a buyer standing in a show suite that doesn't exist yet.

THE VISION

Every visual has to do two jobs: hit the brief, and make someone want to buy.

Architecture on paper and architecture as buyers experience it are two different things. My job is closing that gap, respecting the technical constraints of the blueprint while producing visuals built to the accuracy planning submissions require, and compelling enough to convert a viewing into a reservation.

I'm Stuart Woodhead, and I combine current CGI rendering technology with an eye trained since 1989 across design and photography, and sharpened in architectural CGI specifically since 1995, turning CAD data into images that do commercial work for developers across the UK, not just look good in a portfolio.

HOW I WORK

Three principles behind every project.

Precision

Precision

Every model is built to real-world specifications, matched precisely to the drawings and site data you supply.

Artistry

Artistry

A technically correct render can still fail to sell. I understand how light, material and composition affect a buyer's gut reaction, because that reaction is what gets a reservation signed.

Clarity

Clarity

Complicated projects need simple visuals. I turn dense architectural detail into images that get faster sign-off internally and faster decisions from buyers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Visual Harmony a big studio or a one-person operation?

Visual Harmony is led directly by Stuart Woodhead, with 30+ years of architectural CGI and design experience. Every project is delivered personally, no account managers, no handoffs to a junior you've never spoken to. For larger jobs, trusted freelance specialists are brought in as needed, but you always work directly with the person doing the work.

How long has Visual Harmony been operating?

Visual Harmony was founded in 2010 and has been producing architectural CGI, animation, and design for property developers, architects, and agencies across the UK ever since.

Where is Visual Harmony based, and do you work outside Manchester?

The studio is based in Manchester, and I work with clients across the UK, including Leeds and the wider North of England, with all review and approval handled remotely.

What experience does Visual Harmony bring to a project?

30+ years of architectural CGI and design experience, led personally on every project rather than delegated to junior staff.

I need visuals for a large commercial or industrial scheme, can a boutique studio actually handle it?

Yes. Roughly half of my work is commercial and industrial, offices, storage centres, business parks, not just residential. Core creative direction stays with me on every project, and trusted technical specialists are brought in for the scale multi-phase commercial schemes demand. You get the capacity of a bigger studio without losing direct access to the person doing the work.
